Welcome to Middle School at Georgetown International Academy
At Georgetown International Academy, our Middle School program (Grades 6–8) is designed to inspire curiosity, foster critical thinking, and empower emerging young leaders to become confident, compassionate global citizens. Middle school is a pivotal time of transition and discovery, where students build independence, deepen friendships, and explore new interests.
The 2026–2027 academic year marks an extraordinary chapter in GIA’s history. We are proud to share that our Middle School community has reached a record enrollment of 83 students—the largest Middle School student body GIA has ever welcomed. This remarkable milestone reflects the dedication of our caring faculty, our dynamic and inclusive learning environment, and the growing trust of our school community.
Whether transitioning from Lower School or joining GIA for the first time, our middle schoolers are supported and challenged through a collaborative core curriculum enriched by creative exploratory programs, athletics, arts, and leadership initiatives. Here, students learn to think critically, lead with integrity, and engage actively with the world around them as they prepare for the exciting opportunities of High School and beyond.
We invite you to explore our campus, meet our educators, and experience the supportive community that makes learning at GIA so unique.
Welcome to the GIA family — Curious minds, kind hearts, global impact.
