Life at GIA

Athletics

We focus on academic excellence, global awareness, and personal growth. Our diverse programs inspire critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity, helping students develop lifelong skills. Surfing–Grades 6-12

In 2023-24, GIA started its first annual surf camp in Barbados. This gave students an opportunity to travel with friends and try a new and challenging sport with local surf instructors in Barbados. This 3-day trip will be offered to middle school students in the spring and high school students in the Fall during the 2024-25 school year.

Volleyball

Our volleyball program is designed to foster teamwork, agility, and athletic skill in a supportive and engaging environment. Students of all skill levels will have the opportunity to improve their game through structured training sessions, competitive play, and personalized coaching. Whether you’re new to the sport or looking to refine your abilities, our program encourages every participant to challenge themselves, build confidence, and enjoy the thrill of volleyball

5K & Fun Run

We host an annual 5K & fun run in January that is professionally timed and open to the entire GIA community (students, parents, teachers).
