Life at GIA

Health Services

GIA’s Health Services prioritize the well-being of all students throughout the school day and during after-school activities. Our on-site nurse provides basic first aid, medication support, and emergency care as needed, ensuring a safe and healthy environment.

Health Services

The physical health of each student is critical in helping them do well at school. A school nurse provides immediate first aid for any student that becomes ill, injured, or needs medication during the school day.

Hours

The school nurse is available 7:30am-4:20pm, Monday-Friday.

Emergency Contact

The nurse will contact a parent when there is a severe illness or injury that requires additional medical attention. The nurse will not contact a parent regarding minor cuts, scrapes, or bruises. It is the parent’s responsibility to make sure emergency contact information is up-to-date.

Nursing care services are provided for daily After School Activities (ASA)
